S-10 is effective against corrosion in the condensate line of boiler systems. Carbon dioxide is released when feed water containing carbonates and bicarbonates is heated. This carbon dioxide dissolves in water in the condensate line, forming corrosive carbonic acid. S-10 prevents the corrosive action of carbonic acid by neutralizing it as it forms.
S-10, with its high volatility, is carried in the system along with carbon dioxide and steam and neutralizes the acid upon its formation.

PACKAGING AND STORAGE: This product is packaged in 55 gallon (208 liter) drums. S-10 is also available in 5 gallon (19 liter) containers, liquid totes and bulk.
