Cortec VpCI®-611 | Hydro Testing | Flash Rust Preventative | 55 Gal
VpCI®-611 is a water-based rust preventive concentrate for water blasting, wet abrasive blasting, hydro testing, fire sprinkler water systems, or preservation. It leaves a very thin, transparent, tack-free barrier on metal surfaces.
VpCI®-611 is non-toxic, environmentally friendly and contains no nitrite nor phosphate inhibitors. VpCI®-611 is safe, economical to use and easy to dispose of. The film is weldable and will not cause toxic fumes during welding.
VpCI®-611 contains contact and vapor phase corrosion inhibitors capable of protecting uncoated surfaces. VpCI® treatment can be removed from the metal surface with water or any conventional washing procedure. In most cases, VpCI®-611 need not be removed prior to painting or coating.

SHELF LIFE: Up to 24 months.
NOTE: Always dilute VpCI®-611 with potable water. VpCI®-611 is not suitable for yellow metals (i.e. copper, brass).
PACKAGING AND STORAGE: This product is packaged in 55 gallon (208 liter) drums. VpCI®-611 is also available in 5 gallon (19 liter) pails, liquid totes and bulk. Store VpCI®-611 in a heated warehouse to avoid freezing.
